महज 19 साल की उम्र में गांव की पहली महिला पुलिस कांस्टेबल बनकर उन्होंने समाज की सोच बदल दी। लेकिन जिंदगी की सबसे कठिन परीक्षा अभी बाकी थी।
कुछ वर्षों बाद उन्हें ओवेरियन कैंसर का पता चला। कीमोथेरेपी, झड़ते बाल, शारीरिक पीड़ा और लोगों की बातें… हर दिन एक नई चुनौती थी। फिर भी उन्होंने हार नहीं मानी।
आज वही सुनीता चौधरी हजारों बच्चों के बीच “पुलिसवाली दीदी” के नाम से जानी जाती हैं। वे बच्चों को सुरक्षा, आत्मविश्वास, शिक्षा और अच्छे नागरिक बनने की प्रेरणा देती हैं।
