बेंगलुरु के 17 वर्षीय वेरुस्का पांडे और 20 वर्षीय वेदांश पांडे ने ऐसा नवाचार विकसित किया है, जो भविष्य में शहरों के जल संकट और शहरी बाढ़ जैसी समस्याओं के समाधान में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकता है।
दोनों को भारत का पहला पेटेंट मिला है, जो स्टॉर्मवॉटर ड्रेन्स के माध्यम से वर्षा जल को सीधे भूजल (Groundwater) तक पहुंचाने की तकनीक पर आधारित है।
उनके मॉडल में स्टॉर्मवॉटर ड्रेन्स के भीतर विशेष ओपन वेल्स, प्रिसिजन ड्रिल्ड रिंग्स और स्लॉटेड GI पाइप लगाए जाते हैं। इससे बारिश का पानी प्राकृतिक रूप से फिल्टर होकर जमीन के भीतर पहुंचता है और सूखे महीनों में धीरे-धीरे एक्विफर (Aquifer) को रिचार्ज करता है। खास बात यह है कि इस तकनीक के लिए अतिरिक्त जमीन की आवश्यकता नहीं होती।
दोनों को “Solid Segregation Grill” नाम से दूसरा पेटेंट भी मिला है, जो नालों में ठोस कचरे को रोककर पानी के बहाव को साफ बनाए रखने में मदद करता है।
वेरुस्का इससे पहले Project Suryanayak के माध्यम से हजारों लोगों को CPR प्रशिक्षण दे चुकी हैं। वे WHO Youth Ambassador भी हैं। वहीं वेदांश पर्यावरण इंजीनियरिंग के छात्र हैं और पर्यावरण संरक्षण से जुड़े कई प्रयासों में सक्रिय हैं।
वेरुस्का और वेदांश की कहानी बताती है कि जब युवा समस्याओं को अवसर की तरह देखते हैं, तो उनके विचार केवल आविष्कार नहीं, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए समाधान बन जाते हैं। ❤️🌍
